umechanOk, random but if you come across Bolthouse Farm's fresh juices I highly recommend you try them! Here's the website. There's even a locator for stores that carry it in your area, if you're in the states. The carrot juice is simply delicious. And if carrot juice is not your thing, the passion fruit one is pretty good too. And there's a berry boost one which is really tasty too, which isn't listed on the site. Mmm. :D~
I finally got a chance to watch the 1st ep of Gakuen Alice. I had some reservations about it beforehand, since I didn't like the anime character designs I saw online. But there's enough stuff I am dying to see animated and well, I just really like this series in general, so it would take a helluva lot to get me to stop watching.
Overall, after watching the 1st ep, I have a couple gripes about it, but it's not as bad as I thought it might be. And they got a couple of things, really, really right. XD
I love the cheerleading bit at the beginning! But then, I'm a sucker for characters dancing in the OP/ED. They changed the beginning a bit from the manga, mainly dumbing it down for the audience. And in general there's a lot more explaining what's going on to the audience. Which I never like anyways. I mean, maybe a little suspense and surprise is a good thing. Overall it probably doesn't effect anything, that you know from the start that the school is in need of money, but I just thought it was a bit more touching in the manga. (I'm biased. I know.)
Oh! I really really like Kugimiya Rie as Hotaru! <3 She's even better than Sawashiro Miyuki, who was in the drama clip. Ueda Kana as Mikan is sounding better in the anime too. Somehow Mikan is just a tad annoying when animated. ^^;; And I rather liked her in the manga. And Oh! Ishida-san! You've more than fulfilled my expectations for Narumi-sensei. *dies*
I can't wait for Mr. Bear to make an appearance. XD And Lucapyon!
The flashback with Mikan asking Hotaru who her best friend is (spots 1-10 all turn out to be Hotaru herself. XD;;) is so adorable. It's done well the way the split it up so that we see the ending bit when Mikan's realized what's happened. And Mikan's first impressions of Tokyo are cute too. :P~
The best clips come first. Because OMG RABU! Narumi-sensei's 1st appearance. He really animates well. XD;; The art not so much, but the actual animating-movement and voice. XD;;

OMGWTFLOL. "Uso wa ikenai na~" Best delivered line ever. Not the same line as in the manga, but I think this one is better thank just "sayonara" XD I had to go back to rewatch this a number of times. XD;;
Also, it really should be not that Mikan thinks he's "onee-san", but think's he's "okama-san". XD But we won't quibble about that. :P

I love Hotaru and Mikan's friendship. They're so cute. :P Their personalities really play off of each other well.
And of course, introduction of Natsume-kun right before the end of the episode. :P Gotta love those earrings. Although if you think about it too hard. 10 year olds w/ earrings.
